On top of spotlighting independent hip hop's rising talent on WhiskeyTeeth, I also help out another independent music website that deals with all types of genres. Recently, BandSoup put together their first compilation album to showcase twelve of the most popular bands that uploaded their material to their site. Most of the compilation floats in the mellow end of the acoustic folk and alternative rock pool, so if you dig that type of music you might find something you like. Also, BandSoup's blog is looking for more hip hop talent to be featured on their site and an upcoming hip hop compilation album. So if you are an artist or producer, take a minute to upload a track or two to the site.
