Video: Crew54- Impala Music

Mos of Crew54 here to thank those that have shown us some love with our first release of the year "Impala Music." We've been throwing around the idea of shooting a video with the HD capabilities of the Droid X cellphone and this video seemed perfect for it, with a smooth riding video to go along with the style of the song. This is just the first new music of the year for us as we prepare for our upcoming releases this year, and many more performances.

I unfortunately missed a lot of the FunFunFunFest, but Austin's very own Crew54 has an incredible 3-day re-cap of the event for their latest edition of the Crew54 Reality Show.

On the weekend of November 5th-7th, I had the chance to go to the one of the best music festivals I've ever been to-- Austin's FunFunFunFest. The pictures in the link below are from the 3-day festival that featured numerous independent acts, such as: Weird Al Yankovic, MGMT, Suicidal Tendencies, Gwar, Pharoahe Monch, P.O.S., Bad Religion, Slick Rick, Devin the Dude, Best Coast, The Dirty Projectors, Crew54, Jean Grae, and many more.

In the slideshow you will see shots of Ariel Pink's Haunted Graffiti, Best Coast, Kaki King, Pharoahe Monch, P.O.S. (who stole the show the last night), Austin's own Butcher Bear and Charlie, Strike Anywhere, OS Mutantes, and Toro Y Moi (who surprised me the most).

FunFunFunFest x WhiskeyTeeth

Update: We came (late), we saw, we snatched free drink tickets. Whiskeyteeth had a blast at Austin's little FunFunFunfest and can't wait until next year's. P.O.S. stole the show on sunday-- we'll have pictures and words coming at you soon!

WhiskeyTeeth will be at FunFunFunFest in Austin, Texas this weekend. Looking forward to Sunday the most with Crew54, Pharoahe Monch, Floor, P.O.S., A-Trak, and Mastadon. See you there?

Promo Video: Crew54 + CientifiQ

Hip Hop duo Crew 54 are currently working on an exciting throwback project with fellow Kileen, Texas resident CientifiQ. The short and rugged EP will be called Slap Rapz and will feature MOS and G-Christ going in over CientifiQ's hard knocking production, as well as CientifiQ adding his own rap vocals to the mix a la Pete Rock.
